Gone with the wind were the mothers we knew, as they watched the movie. Usually strict, they let my cousins and me roam the shimmery, other-worldly theater. gone with the wind Reviews
This is actually a very short read, only takes a few minutes to read this. I was disappointed because I expected something longer, bit more of a desciption of the cinema for instance and the time period. This is so short that it reads more like an extract but will give an idea of the writer's style. I notice that she has written some full length novels, so if you treat this as a sample of her writing it may help you to choose whether to read her other stuff. It is nicely written and I particularly enjoyed the last line. This is a short description of a child's trip to the cinema while the adults watched Gone with the Wind for the first time.
Struck as the child within knew this was to be. I enjoyed with highest regard of the ladies of the day their struggle ,their triumph ,as well as their tears.
Favorite. Book. Of. All. Time.Oh, Scarlett, how I love and hate you so!
Amazing book.I adore the characters, they are almost alive in my mind.
