Q: Why did The skeleton not go to the dance?A: HE HAD NO BODY!Seriously? I have heard this joke a hundred times. Couldnt you make up your own jokes that haven't been created yet? Like....Q: Why did the chipmunk go to detention?A: BECAUSE HE WAS DRIVING HIS TEACHER NUTS!I actually think my "home-made" joke is better than this whole book. Rob Elliot, if you are going to make jokes, at least make some jokes people have never heard before. Let me list some more "jokes" that are apparently funny to some people. Did I tell you that these jokes are in this book?Q: What do you get when you mix a pig and a tree together?A: A PORK-A-PINE! (Haha.)Q:What is black and white and black and white and black and red?A: A PENGUIN THAT IS EMBARRASSED! (Not Funny.)Q: What do you call a pig that is no fun to be around?A: A BOAR!!! (I give up.)See? These are actual jokes from THIS book, and I'm telling you, this is not laugh out loud jokes for kids, It's cringe out loud for all ages. DONT TAKE WHAT I SAY THOUGH, THIS IS JUST MY OPINON. Or is it? 🤔

Good humor is a valuable commodity. Let me re-phrase that. Good clean humor is a valuable commodity. Clean humor is not as easy to find as you might think. Much of the humor of the past three or so decades is based on making fun of someone else or of other ideas. It capitalizes on someone's mistakes. It belittles and minimizes someone else's worth. To find good humor means leaving that base in the dust and finding things that are truly funny at no one else's expense. Even the definition of clean has variations and shades of meaning. As a parent, when my children were young, I didn't want them to think that devaluing someone else was funny. Slapstick was fine, as well as play on words and incongruities. We loved all things animal humor. Those were our standards. This book contains a similar standard. It is written for young children, perhaps from 6-10 years. The content is squeaky clean. Many of the jokes date back to my childhood years with a few new ones sprinkled here and there. There are 126 pages of fun.It is divided by chapters by categories:Chapter 1: Questions and AnswersChapter 2: Awesome Animal JokesChapter 3: Knock Knock JokesChapter 4: Tongue TwistersChapter 5: Some Things to Think AboutOne of the Question and Answers I've never heard before goes like this:Question: What did the alien say to the flower bed?Answer: Take me to your weeder. Here's one from Chapter 2 I haven't heard before:Question: Where do bees come from?Answer: Stingapore and BeeliviaDo knock knock jokes make you groan?"Knock, knock!""Who's There?""Everest""Everest, who?""Do we Everest from telling knock knock jokes?"One parting shot:"If a fly didn't have wings, would we call it a walk?"Now, I found this is just one book in a collection. There are many more books just like this one. They came out with a new one in 2014 if you are looking for more. I recommend this to anyone who wants pure and simple humor for their children.Disclosure of Material Connection: I received a complimentary review copy of this book from The Book Club Network ( on behalf of Revell. How did the baseball player lose his house? He made his home run. Why did the invisible man turn down a job offer? He just couldn't see himself doing it.

Funny for kidsThis is a fun joke book, but definitely meant for kids. The humor is younger and even someone in their mid teens might find it a bit on the young side. The best part is section 5, things to make you think.

Cute jokes for kids who understand punsI thought these were funny, not rolling on the floor funny, but interesting for kids over 10 whose English classes have advanced to understand words with many meanings, jokes & tongue twisters.

My 6 year old reluctant reader thinks most of these are super funny. Some take too much explanation.

This book is one of my favorite books! Rob elliott is a professional at making laugh out loud jokes. There are more than 100 stories that makes me crazy.. The author is so good at this kind of humor joke writing, and this book helped me to improve my writing skills. By reading his funny jokes, i got to know some humor codes that i could put in, in my essays, reflection, or reviews. In my opinion, making the reader entertained and keeping them in focus by using humor codes and hooks are necessities in writing as grammar, and word usage. This is what i learned by this book, and maybe i can use funny jokes to my friends haha^^ (but not sure if they’ll like it..)

Ok, I guess I should really give this five stars for cute KID'S jokes, but many my kids have already heard. A perfect 5, for me, would be almost all jokes are new ones (but I guess it depends on how old your kids are). Oh well, the jokes are cute and I personally haven't heard many of them (but then again, I'm unfortunately not a kid anymore LOL). Very useful for the younger grandkids just starting school, many a giggle enclosed. Considering I got the book for practically nothing, it was worth the small spend to see the smiles on the little one's faces.

I really did "laugh out loud".A highly entertaining and funny read, and the best part is, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy it.I didn't care for the knock knock jokes but here are some of my faves from the rest;Q: What do you get when you cross a tiger and a snowman?A: FrostbiteQ: Why did the sparrow go to the library?A: It was looking for bookworms.Or this funny tongue twister;Goofy Gorillas Gobble GrapefruitsCute, right?

Thought the boys might like this, and they may. This collection of (mostly terrible) groaners does contain a few clever entries. For example,Q: Why do rhinos have so many wrinkles?A: Because they're so hard to iron.Note: If you think knock-knock jokes are funny, this book will prove just how wrong you are.

Just as it says, kid jokes. I think I got it for free, but it's a few bucks now. It's worth it if this is what you're looking for, but there is little new or especially funny. This was my favorite: Why aren't mustaches called "mouthbrows"?

Maybe it is somehow hardwired into me, and I am a grownup, but I love jokes for kids. This is a great collection that I found at my public library as an e-book. I liked it so much I think I need to buy a copy for myself.

I bought this book with my 7-year-old daughter, and she really enjoys it. It contains a lot of puns and word play, which makes it really funny for children that age.

This is funnier than I probably should admit! The jokes are tame but I might be a total 5 year old at heart...or at least when it comes to joke books
