Vegie Food Reviews
Not too bad, but nothing extraordinary. Well-seasoned vegetarians will see a lot of things in here they've been cooking since they were twelve, but someone new to vegetarianism might be a little more rewarded with new ideas. There are quite a few doubles in here from another budget Murdoch Books cookbook: http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16..., but if you don't have the other then that won't worry you! I have quite a few things bookmarked in here, for example: Deep-Fried Parmesan Baby Carrots, Tomato Tarte Tatin, Sweet Potato Ravioli (made with won ton papers), Soya Bean Moussaka, Artichoke Risoni and steamed Chinese Vegetable Dumplings. And, although I'm not much of a soup person, this was the section of the book that had the most novel things in it for me: Asparagus Soup, Sweet Potato and Pear Soup, Spicy Parsnip Soup and Chilled Garlic and Almond Soup.
