I’ve read quite a few of Erin’s books and loved them. Chelsi is a new author to me. I was very curious to read a book by these two. I wasn’t disappointed:)Suzie and Heather are bonkers. Like totally crazy. Together they dish out karma to those they believe that deserve it. I’m sure we all know someone that we wish karma would bite them in the bum. As the story moved on I was totally engrossed. If your looking for a horror read with craziness thrown in then I certainly recommend this story. I’m looking forward to reading more from this duo. Well done:)

One of my favorite genres to read is dark fiction. Books that have an edgy side to them and can often be gruesome in parts and have a suspense level to them. One of my favorite authors is also Erin Lee. So of course, when The Ranch was released - I got it immediately and knew I wanted to read it. I was in the mood to read it after seeing the release of Book #2. As soon as I opened the book, I got a gruesome part as a woman was being killed using the historic torture of rats gnawing through flesh. The Ranch turns out to be a business that two best friends Heather and Suzie decided to make into a business. The business is called The Ranch: Moving On and giving Karma is their specialty. The Ranch secretly is also an assassin business. They get paid to dish out torture and the punishments that the person has paid them to do. The book took an interesting twist with the ending as the Ranch was raided and that ending interaction between Heather and Suzie OMG. I am now looking forward to reading Book #2 and a heads-up reader The Ranch is not the book for the faint-hearted as it has gore, craziness and is one rollercoaster ride of a book.

I was hooked at, "The darkness has a smell." The overarching plot and many scenes are deliciously disturbing and I loved reading each chapter with the uncertainty of what would come next. True, The Ranch is horrifying. However, the outrageous dialogue, knee-slapping one liners and loyalty between the main characters makes this book almost genre-bending...almost. Make no mistake, this book is true blue horror, but horror with substance and "guts," lots of them.Suzie and Heather have taken it upon themselves to provide a certain service. By word of mouth alone, these best friends carry out heinous acts of brutality and vengeance for a price...don't know what you want? Don't worry, there's a menu. The concept sounds sinister enough, but what makes the book so much more alarming is how real and even lovable these two are. The character development is phenomenal and equates to totally relatable characters...which is disturbing in itself. In their mind, the girls are doing good work. There are many w.t.fuck moments...such as the son's odd request for his mother...but they only make the book that much more delightful. If you want a book that will have you cringing, laughing, gasping and turning the pages with one eye closed...Suzie and Heather are your girls. The Ranch is skillfully written and well worth more than five stars as it kept me entertained for hours and will certainly be read again in the future.***provided an ARC for an honest review***

I was lucky enough to receive an advanced copy of The Ranch. Wow! Okay, this book is INTENSE and crazy as hell, but I loved every minute of it. Heather and Suzie have this wild chemistry and camaraderie I loved. There are parts of this book that just made my stomach turn BUT there were also parts that made me laugh, and warmed my heart a little. Anyone who has ever thought about getting revenge on those who have done you wrong, you will appreciate this one. It shows you the lengths in which two damaged women will go in order to restore justice. But not everything is what it seems...and there are quite a few surprising twists and turns that I simply wasn't expecting. The ending was incredible - and I do mean incredible! The conclusion was one of the best I've ever seen and now I can't help wondering - will there be a book 2? How can there be? But how can there NOT be?! Heather and Suzie are the kind of characters you can't, and won't want to, forget! So, I can't help wanting more! I definitely recommend this book to lovers of the horror/thriller genre.

Wow, this book was amazing! I really was not sure what to expect when I started reading this book, but since I have loved all the other books that I've read from this author, I decided to give it a try. And it blew my mind how wonderful the story is, even though it had all that gore, the story was great. And I truly cannot wait to read the next book of this series to find out what will happen to Heather and Suzie, I so want to find out if Heather was really capable of what she did, or will it just be a dream. Thank you so much Erin Lee for letting me read and review your book, I can't wait to read your other books because I can see that everything you write is just awesome. Love, love, love the book!

I was excited to read a darker side of Erin Lee as well as give Chelsi Davis a try.Chapter 1 had such brutality, and yet based on the circumstances, I was in full support of Karma at work in the form of Suzie. Heather's thoughts on the situation in Chapter 2 were a bit unexpected and really upped my level of intrigue with the story. Their dynamic wasn't quite what I expected, and yet it was perfect to keep me in suspense. It was such a strong demonstration of their personalities. I enjoyed reading each side of their story and their take on the events that led them to starting work at The Ranch. The talk about "princesses" in Chapter 4 gave me a definite sense of foreboding. I was a bit worried that things may go wrong for Heather and Suzie down the road. The request Heather got by phone shortly thereafter was shocking to say the least! Wow! And there was definitely some trouble brewing in paradise, and that had me eagerly turning the pages to find out what would happen. The authors did an absolutely great job hooking me!I needed to know more about Heather's secrets. I had a bad feeling that they could potentially blow everything sky-high! The pace of the story really started moving at warp-speed when they brought the two guys home from the bar. I was so into the story and needed to know what was going to happen; I was almost rendered crazy with curiousity. Once Heather started to take charge, I was nervous about how things would go. I also loved how in the beginning Heather seemed like the more unstable one, but as things went along, I began to wonder if Suzie wasn't the crazier one. It was a real head-trip.When the unraveling started to happen I was absolutely on the edge of my seat wondering what was coming next! The ending was totally WOW!!! The Ranch was phenomenal. It had plenty of suspense and was dark and twisted in all the right places. It took me on one heck of a crazy ride and I cannot wait to read what these two will think up next!

Well, all I can say is Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis hit it out of the park this time. This book has some very kinky twists and turns. The thought that went into this book would probably give a normal person nightmares. The story about Suzie and her best friend Heather is off the hook. Suzie is a nut case and Heather is codependent nut case. You put the two together and you get Karma from Hell. They are taking hits on cheating men, they even have a binder. This book is not for the kind of heart but for someone who wants horror with a laugh or two it's fantastic. Can't wait to see what's next. Karma is a bitch!

so wow just wow Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis have wrote one hell of a deep disturbing and gore filled story. You would have read the blurb so you have the premise I dont like to give much away in my reviews as that spoils the fun. But I will say I was hooked from the first scene the first page it grabs you and has you craving for more to know what makes these girls tick. So the friendship between Suzie and Heather is at times beautiful and the rest not all it seems and is the driving source of this story and The Ranch. Heather and Suzie look like harmless women living normal lives but looks can be deceiving they deal in torture and revenge... so let's just say you never want to be a guest at The Ranch. Their story and the story of the Ranch was wonderfully written. The characters are deep you find out what makes them tick... why they are so incredibly psychotic. The scenes are written so vividly you feel like you are standing there next to Suzie and or Heather. The ending fantastic and it ended how I hoped it would. If you like dark, torture, looking at the dark side of humanity and the depraved mixed with a little justice for a person wronged go and get this book anywbere you can asap. Great work Erin and Chelsi cant wait to see whats next

Wow... just what we've all wanted!! Ways to get rid of those lying, cheating ex's or current boyfriend/girlfriend. I mean, really, think about it ... who hasn't wanted to get even of drop some karma on their asses? I can say that I've been cheated on and man, did I want some payback. These ladies... Suzie and Heather give it to ya!!There are parts in this book that are so darkly, disgusting that I had a few pauses while reading. I can, honestly, say that not much gives me pause while reading fictional books but these ladies here, they... well, they're pretty messed up! You know, in a good way! I picture these ladies as the gory, murderous duo Thelma and Louise! They've definitely stepped up their game! I was really surprised where Heather and Suzie ended their story. I'm seriously waiting as patiently as I can for the next installment, Moving On. The authors, Chelsi Davis and Erin Lee worked so well together that I wasn't sure who was writing as who. This book was so incredibly wicked, so gory... it was fantastic for the horror lover in me! It was even more perfect for the hurt, betrayed, woman I've been in the past that has put up with liars and cheaters... just like Suzie and Heather are taking care of here!!I received an ARC of this book with the hope that I would leave an Unbiased Opinion. I was not required to leave a review, positive or otherwise, and my opinions are just that... my opinions.

Received an arc for an early review. If you are a true Horror fan that consists of blood, gore, and a little revenge in the mix, then this is your next Must Read. Welcome to the Ranch. Your hosts for the evening are our two twisted friends Suzie and Heather. The entertainment with this visit is a little justice with torture by all means available. The only downfall to this visit will be that you're the nightly entertainment. These lovely ladies bring a whole new meaning to the old saying "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned ". This story is all kinds of dark, twisted, and sometimes even funny, madness. Loved this book. These two authors have definitely got a #1 in this craziness.

Another great read from Erin Lee & Chelsi Davis. These two Ladies make an AMAZING writing team. The flow between them was seamless and I forgot that I was reading 2 different authors in one book. Suzie & Heather are two Ladies that have the whole karma thing down ;-) This was such a fun read and allowed me to get out of my head for a little bit. I can't wait for the next book in this series to find out what happens and if karma will visit these 2.Great read and I look forward to reading more from both of these AMAZING writers.

This story was epic. If you are looking for a place to move on to make karma come sooner you can get in contact with The Ranch. Oh man Suzie and Heather were just your kind of ladies to get the job well done. This was so over the top of craziness and the ending was just wow now I know with whom I'm not going to mess with. This was a job well done ladies love this co-writing thing you have here I hope I will get more stories of both of you ladies.

I thoroughly enjoyed this twisted little tale. Moving on is hard. There are no limits for a woman scorned. Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis weave a seamless story about two women how are maybe missing a couple screws, but feel they're serving justice. I don't know how to not spoil anything, but I was completely hooked to the very wicked, yet satisfying end. If you love story's that dance in the darkness, this is one for you, not for the faint of heart, though.

Chapter 1 Line 1... I was immediately drawn into this story. The intensity that is immediately put into action had me craving more. Most everyone knows what it feels like to want revenge... To want justice in the wake of their own pain. Suzie and Heather want to help people move on. They want to help give karma a nice little shove in the right direction. I was amazed at how many times I physically gasped out of surprise/shock while reading this. Beyond that, I was impressed at Erin Lee and Chelsi Davis' ability chase such suspense with just the right amount of humor. They have taken the meaning of 'best friend', twisted it up a little, tested it in ways you wouldnt believe possible and keep you wondering what the next plot twist is. Amazing job! I am thoroughly satisfied and cannot wait to see more from this author duo.

This book is the best. I'm almost positive everyone dreams of revenge every now and then. If you're one of the ones who will admit it....live vicariously through this book! The entire time I was reading it I was in the edge of my seat. I couldn't read fast enough!! These two authors are amazing on their own & phenomenal together! You will not be sorry!!

What an interesting business concept! This book definitely kept my attention all of the way through! Two crazy, serial killing best friends doling out justice for those wronged, and such ingenious methods! I stayed up reading until the wee hours of morning to finish because I just HAD to keep going, I HAD to know how the book ended. I definitely wasn't expecting the ending! Nice twist!

omg this book was awesome! its about two women who have a business of delivering karma to those people who have done others wrong. only this is so messed up. only people with a strong stomach could handle this . you order from the menu and they deliver. there both messed up! i loved it!

Ms. Lee and Ms. Davis definitely wrote a fascinating story! It was great! The plot itself was incredibly compelling, with the idea of two wronged women running a “business” of helping other wronged people to “move on.” However, for the ones who are at fault of wronging those “clients,” it meant only one thing: a death sentence, and not in the most pleasant of ways either. Twisted and dark as it comes, I enjoyed every page of this story, and couldn’t wait to see where it would lead to. What I also loved about “The Ranch” was how the psychological aspect was masterfully incorporated into the plot, making it even more gritty and riveting. Loved it, and I’m definitely going to read the sequel when it comes out. Five stars!

This is my second book by Chelsi (loved the first one so much!) but a first read for Erin. Really glad I took a chance on it.The first chapter sets the gruesome scene, and gives every scorned woman out there, a high five. I thoroughly enjoyed the inner twisted machinations of the two main characters, getting to know their history and triggers was truly fun. The plot was exciting to read, and easily followed. The characters were awesome as I doubt there is a woman alive who wouldn’t love to find their own local ‘ranch’ to administer their own dose of karma. Bravo ladies, will there be a ranch 2?

This book is awesome. Heather and her sidekick Suzie run a ranch with a particular flare for horror. They are rolling in money because so many people want the service they offer--revenge. Boyfriend cheats on you? Perhaps you want his fingernails pulled out. Husband left you for a younger women? Perhaps you want her beauty slashed so he'll never want her again.Whatever your heart desires, The Ranch owners can make come true for a price.I strongly recommend it for anyone who likes horror and particularly for anyone with a desire to avenge a wrong. It's fast-paced, unique, and thrilling.

This book will grab you by the short hairs and not let go!! Wow this book was so interesting and captivating and different, in a great way!! I hated to go to sleep because I didn't want to put it down. My favorite part was reading what Suzie and Heather were thinking, which was usually dark and devilish, my favorite kind of book!! Suzie and Heather hurry karma along for clients that pay them to take care of their problem by all kinds of different tortures. I definitely recommend this book and I really hope you one-click as soon as you finish reading this, you won't be sorry!! Enjoy!!

Another interesting read!!!!Sometimes, best friends are two peas in a pod. The same personalities, likes, you get the picture. BUT, sometimes they are the complete opposite. The most popular girl and the frumpy girl. The only problem, they both are messed up in the head. The ranch?? The ranch is where they "help" people to move on. As in, cheat on your wife, for a fee they will torture/ kill the man, therefore helping both her and him move on. Now throw a deep, dark secret into the mix, and let karma sort it out.

I wouldn't want to be at the wrong end if the buisness that's for sure. I love the gory details of how they do buusness on The Ranch, Moving On. This is one of my favorite Erin Lee books, but it's so hard to choose!! I can't wait to start reading Moving On soon!

Bravo Erin and Chelsi2 girls Heather and Susie started a business, a secret. This was a business that gave karma a little push. Now don't tell me that you haven't wished at one point in your life there was a real business that helped to get revenge or justice. The Ranch is so good but you wouldn't want to visit yourself.

This is one twisted story mixed in with a bucket-full of crazy, but nicely sprinkled with a few sexy cowboys.
