A Kauai Reader:The Exotic Literary Heritage of the Garden Island (Mutual Publishing Paperback) Reviews
Kauai's history is fascinating, and the book is worth reading for that reason. Some of the stories written by other writers are marvelous, but the author's writing is sloppy and uninspired. The book also needs serious editing. One story included two repeated paragraphs.
A bit of a disappointment. There's a longer review of this collection at www.cloquetriverpress.com.Mark
Great selections, poorly edited. Whole pages are repeated.
I picked this up in Kauai, a collection of stories.
