Oh, Nikolas... *sigh* How am I going to live without you, now that this series is over? This was actually my most anticipated read this year, but also the one I was most wary of. I was afraid this book might end up bursting my little Nikolas-infatuated bubble I've built over the past few years. I'm glad to say that didn't happen at all. I'm still ridiculously enamored with him. I mean it. This crush is embarrassing.Warrior retells the entire Relentless series from Nikolas' POV and it was great to get some insight into that mysterious mind of his. While there were lots of exciting new scenes and untold revelations, what I loved most was to experience Nikolas' relationship with Sara from his perspective, which also explained so much about his actions and behavior towards her.I'm also happy to say that there's quite a lot of "Dimples" aka Chris action in this book, just as I hoped it would. Yay for awesome sidekicks!Anyhow, this was a dignified end to an amazing series and I can't wait to find out what more Karen Lynch has in store for us.

This book from Nikolas' perspective completed the experience!I loved reading from his perspective!I loved reading extra scenes and rereading some of the others in slightly more detail *cough*:)However, I removed one star just because I started getting annoyed by Nikolas' rages and his overprotective tendencies when it came to Sara. Thankfully, Sara, being the badass chick she is, always told him off. That made me love her more! She stands up for herself and she is incredibly strong!Anywez, on to Roland's storyyyyyy!! Like right now!

I really liked this series. It was an original storyline with loveable characters and side characters. I never saw where it was going, which is always a huge plus when you read a lot. It goes over many things just from his point of view. So I would save this for whenever you wanted to reread the series. You get to relive it through his eyes. I didn't expect to like this series so much, but those are the best ones to find. ♡

The audio was a great way to re-read this book (and the whole series) for me. Some things about the narrator were great and some things were slightly annoying (mainly the pronunciation of Nikolas' name). I love this series and being able to re-read it on audio has been a joy! This was a very long book, and a very long audio, so catching a few things I didn't remember the first time around was awesome, and just having a chance to hear the emotions in the narrators voice was really amazing. Highly recommend!

Karen Lynch did it again!! This book is absolutely fantastic and had a very hard time putting the book down. This book is Nikolas POV for all 3 of the Relentless series from the time Nikolas meets Sara and his struggle with dealing with being bonded to her and her resistance and wanting to maintain independence to the conclusion of fully being mated. This definitely shows a different side of Nikolas. A sweet, tender with a sense of humor. I absolutely love it!

OH MY GOSH! This book was worth the wait! I loved each and every moment of it. I am really glad that Karen Lynch decided to publish Nikolas' book and not someone else's because I was not ready to let go of the handsome warrior. Loved this book.**Infinite stars**

Highly anticipated it just didn’t live up to expectations. It is a retelling of the first three books in the Relentless series from Nickolas’ POV. And while I knew that I was kind of expecting something more but what we get is pretty much an exact retelling down to the same conversations between Nickolas & Sara (verbatim) only with Nickolas’thoughts instead of Sara’s. Sadly Nic doesn’t seem to have a lot of thoughts beyond Sara is my mate I must protect her. Nickolas comes across as very 2 dimensional and for that reason he just can’t carry the story as a main narrator. The first 3 books are so much better an more enjoyable. Sara is a MUCH more interesting and likable narrator, plus she has more interesting & entertaining friends.

DNFing at 25%. Although I really like the main character, his love interest is reckless and stubborn and ridiculous. He, on the other hand, makes a big fuss about it and then forgives her. One trope I cannot abide is when a heroine makes stupid decisions for herself in the name of "saving the world." And anyone around her who's allowing it is equally irritating.I think this would be a great book for someone invested in the series. But since I'm starting with this one, I'm not one of them. Zachary Webber is great on the audio. If I were to keep going, it would be for the narration alone.

Full review to come in a few days -- but fantastic alt pov book! It was really fun to read from Nikolas' head! Update: Full review on BookCrushinRating: ★★★★★ "She drove me crazy, challenging me at every turn."Warrior was such an enjoyable read! As someone who has already read the entire original trilogy multiple times, it was still a lot of fun to read it all over again from Nikolas’s point of view. I really do love getting into the heads of the other characters and Warrior was no different! After finishing this massive book (it covers most of the events from all 3 books in the series, wrapped up into 1 complete book) I was completely satisfied. I wasn’t left wanting more…ok maybe just a little bit more, but this is still kept pretty PG, all things considered....Warrior is a brilliant alternate point of view accompaniment to the overall series. I learned so much about Nikolas and about the Mohiri. This wasn’t just a retelling, so many new scenes for us devout fans to absorb and embrace — like we needed any more reasons to love Nikolas! Warrior is a 5-star, must-read companion to the Relentless trilogy!

I haven't read the previous books in the series and it's my first time with this author, but I did what many other reviewers suggested and started this new one with blind eyes...So, the main reason for giving this book a chance was that its audible version is performed by Zachary Webber -he's to me the actor/narrator with the most sensual and talented male voice my ears have been graced I'm a ZW fan first of all and I'm currently on the project of listening to as much as possible of his performance as a narrator. That said, he made this long and old fashioned book worth it. But that aside the story displayed the same old romance soup/trope that I honestly despise:The perfectly beautiful, pure, completely inexperienced, naive but strong-minded-all-kind-of-powered eighteen girl heroine with the undefeated, physically strong, sexually very experienced and confident Alpha male hero who completely lost it for her...Please, authors out there don't do it again. It's so overdone!PSI loved the Zachary's interpretation of the female character Helena. You're GREAT!

Companion books often fall short by telling the same story without enough unique material to make it worth the reader's time. Warrior is a fantastic exception. Nikolas meets Sara on what is supposed to be a routine assignment. Finding her was a complete surprise. Nikolas soon learns that nothing will ever be routine when Sara is involved. This addition to the series allows the reader to peek into Nikolas' thoughts and feelings during the timespan of the entire Relentless series. This book is absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it.

Hmmm, I'm not exactly sure how to rate this one. It's good but it is the exact telling of book number three - storyline, dialogue and all - just with Nikolas' thoughts thrown in. It really is interesting to get his POV but re-reading a story that took three books to originally write does get a bit monotonous so a lot of skimming was done. Many may enjoy the re-read, however. Personally, I would have preferred it if Nikolas' POV had been woven into the original stories.

This series has been an amazing journey! From book one, Relentless when I met Sara and Nikolas I just fell in love with their story. We got to see Sara's side of the story and now we get to see it through Nikolas' eyes. I highly recommend this book and whole series! Karen definitely delivers!

Now if you’re sitting there wondering, now why would I want to read or listen to Nikolas’s POV. Since I just read the three other books. Because it’s a must. With combination of Nikolas and the narration by Zachary Webber, it’s perfection. I could listen to Webber narrate the phone book during my commute and I would be good to go.I’m really glad that I listened to Nikolas’s story. I feel that we didn’t really get all of him in the last three books. Because really we were seeing him from Sara’s perspective. There are so many moments, that still made me laugh and tear up hearing it over again. I would think, wow I can’t wait till this happens or this to see what Nikolas was really feeling.Nikolas is really this one of a kind Warrior. The whole time Sara was unsure of how Nikolas felt. But seeing it this way he felt and loved her so much. That there was no reason for Sara to feel so unsure.Overall, I give this Five Boundless Stars. One because it’s a great story and two because Nikolas duh?!http://www.boundlessbookreviews.com

This book The only slightly annoying thing was that he never seemed to stop talking about her. Literally every single paragraph mentioned her name at least once, after they met, and everything centered around one person, his mate. But I do understand the reasoning behind it and also that it's very deliberate. Maybe I'm just mad someone doesn't love me like that. Damn, now I'm depressed. Anyway, I immensely enjoyed reading the same story from another character's POV, especially this particular hottie, since his thoughts were always pretty concealed and on the down low for majority of the series. I love the lack of complete redundancy; although the timeline and events are same in other books surrounding the MC, this book is very distinct and individualistic to whose story it's telling. To conclude, it leaves a pretty sweet aftertaste, some might even say sickly sweet, but as always I'm all for that shit.

When I started this book I had forgotten it was a retell from Nikolas’ point of view. I hadn’t geared up for that and it took me a bit to get into it. However, at about 20% in, I was totally hooked! I loved reliving one of my favorite series and learning about all the thoughts and quests Nikolas was on separate of Sara. I forgot how much time the characters spent apart, so there really was a lot to tell. I was pleased that this book covered all three of the others- what an epic journey! Overall, a welcome edition to an amazing series!

This was pretty good, I loved getting the peek at Nikolas' thoughts and feelings and it really put a lot of his interactions into perspective for me, however occassionally it was a bit boring.I still highly recommend reading this one after the first three, it really fits and makes the story whole!

You know Sara’s story. Now read it again, through the eyes of her warrior. Oh My God. I absolutely loved every word and sentence of this book and as soon as I finished it I went right back to the first page to read it again. Having a story told in a different POV can be quite difficult as the author is in danger of repeating most of the story which can therefore reflect badly on the whole series. However Karen Lynch nailed it as so many new scenes were introduced and some of the favourite scenes were reinterpreted. The Relentless trilogy were already so impressive but Warrior was like the icing on the already delicious, perfect cake. I really hope that Karen decides to have Sara and Nikolas reappear in more of her work because I just cant get enough of the two. Especially swoon worthy Nikolas, whom admittedly I have developed quite an embarrassing crush on (but who hasn’t?). So thank you Karen and I cannot wait to read more of your work because as reflected in the Relentless series, you are a very very talented writer.

All the emotions, all the love and turmoil, that I felt from the trilogy were reawakened and increased tenfold while reading this epic story from the perspective of my very favorite Warrior ever!! It was well worth the loooong wait, and I am so beyond blessed to have been chosen to received an ARC copy of the book in advance. This review in exchange for that ARC copy seems like very little to give for that honor. All his life, the only aspirations Nikolas has had were to be a Warrior and protect vulnerable humans from the vampires who preyed on them. He never wanted more from his life, believing that he had everything he could ever desire. He has been alone for nearly two centuries, and he never expected or wanted that to change...until the night he met the most precious gift he ever could have received. After meeting his mate, the only thing Nikolas can think about is her and how he will do everything in his power to protect her. But his malen’kiy voin won't easily accept the protecting that he provides. Oh no. Our warrior-Fae girl won't relinquish her freedom without a fight, and certainly not to the brooding warrior she just met. But Nikolas will not be deterred, because with each day that passes, his ability to stay away from her crumbles under the weight of his growing affection for her.I LOVED getting to see the series from Nikolas's POV!! So many times I wondered what had been going on in his head at certain points throughout the entire trilogy. Well, now my questionings have been put to rest, and I could not be more satisfied with the revelations I received. I fell in love all over again with the Warrior who loved wholly and protected fiercely the warrior-Fae girl I have adored for years now. I laughed with him. I cried with him. And I felt the wholesome and endless devotion he had for Sara, fighting beside her in all things. Comforting her when she hurt. Loving her unconditionally. My heart hurts to finally have to say good-bye to the greatest people I have ever gotten to live in the minds of. Karen Lynch is my hero, and I have unwavering faith that wherever her writing career takes her, she will create works as legendary as the Relentless series. And should she decide to begin and end with this series, it will live on in the minds and hearts of all her readers for generations to come.

Warrior is the entire Relentless Trilogy re-written from stoic, Russian, Mohiri warrior Nikolas' POV, starting with his initial shock at finding the teenage orphan, Sara, his stubborn, ignorant mate in the middle of a vampiric mess in Maine he and his close friend Chris are sent to deal with. Being 3-books-in-1, this is quite the extensive novel, but as with Sara's POV (and even with already knowing the general plot after reading the trilogy), Karen Lynch makes it easy to lose track of time delving into Nikolas' mind and following his desperate actions as he attempts to woo a very resistant, independent, change-averse Sara into giving him her trust, accepting his protection, and opening up to his love. I am not usually a fan of a re-telling, but the Hero's side of the story held a number of plot surprises, the action sequences are more intense and graphic (and a bit more swearing, I think) from the Warrior's POV, the humor is equally strong with side characters' quips about Nikolas' struggles, and once again, the romance and desire (which also was a bit more adult) drew my heart into hoping the two made it as a couple through all the trials and dangers. Warrior is a long but worthy complement that adds to the demon story Lynch presented in the Relentless Trilogy, equally well written and engaging.
