Review by Lisa KaneGreat novella continuing Hayes and Mackenzie's story. At first I thought this was going to be all sugar and spice but then that skank Baylee showed up again to create trouble and things got real interesting. These two have had to work for their HEA. Hayes has adapted to being a family man and he loves Mackenzie with his whole heart.Mackenzie is still full of self esteem issues and her life is further complicated when her long lost brother shows up with bad news. This poor girl never gets a break. But she is stronger than she gives herself credit for and like every other obstacle, she'll overcome this one too. She's wise beyond her years and has had more heart ache than a woman years older than her. She can more than handle Hayes. I loved this story as much as Chasing the Stars. These are great YA romances, with just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting.

This book was bittersweet. It is sad to say goodbye to Hayes and Mackenzie. I feel as if I am a protective older sister that watched these two characters grow into one another again.Hayes shows you how a man is supposed to be, react, and act. I still and will always have a special place in my heart for this character. He has come a long way but he knew what he wanted and he got his forevermore.Mac was a little nerve wreaking in this book but she had every reason to be. But this character deserves very good thing imaginable. She has come a very long way as well.So...yes overall this book was everything you would want and more. I loved every page and I am so happy and yet so sad.And yes when Hayes cried...yup he does. I cried and my heart was so happy. Let's hope one day I find my own Hayes!

Amazing book!Chasing Forevermore is a novella and it continues Hayes and Mackenzie's love story, whom we met in Chasing the Stars. It is part of the Chasing series and must be read after Chasing the Stars.Everything seems to be perfect between Hayes and Mackenzie. They love each other and their daughter, they're living together and have the support of their friends and Hayes's family. But Mackenzie still has doubts if she is good enough for Hayes. Will she push him away or will Hayes show her they belong together?Chasing Forevermore is an amazing book with a beautiful and captivating story. It hooked me from the first page and and I happily rode the rollercoaster ride of emotions it took me.I didn't think Hayes could make me fall in love for him more, but he proved me wrong. He is so sweet and kind. He loves Mac and Harley with all his heart and he isn't afraid to show it.Mackenzie is a fighter and a survivor and is finally happy. But she also believes she and Harley forced Hayes to change his lifestyle.Again, J.D. Rivera wrote an amazing book with a captivating story and great characters. Chasing Forevermore is flawlessly written and that makes it easy to connect with the story and the characters. Can't wait to read Carson's story!!!

I am just blown away by the emotions I felt while reading this novella. J.D. Rivera continued the story of Mackenzie and Hayes and in between the pages you feel all the feels and then some again.Mackenzie goes through some moments where she is so insecure and you just want to wrap her up and tell her that Hayes is her FOREVER and to stop worrying. I think Mackenzie is such a relatable character and so real. Hayes… Hayes. Hayes. Hayes. I just love him. LIKE LOVE HIM. I love how much he loves Mackenzie and Harley and I love the type of guy he is. "Remember, I'm not just loving you for forever, baby. You are mine forevermore." *sigh*This novella was the perfect ending and wrap up to their story! It instantly made me want to reread Chasing the Stars just to feel the feels again. Rivera is a wonderful author and knows how to hit you in the gut!

Escape into my Reads Book BlogFans of Chasing the Stars will enjoy this sweet adorable novella and soak up another glimpse into the lives of Hayes and Mac. Hayes is so blissfully happy living his dream life with Mac and his daughter Harley that he is unware of the insecurities Mac is beginning to feel about their relationship. Mac fears she is holding Hayes back from having fun with his partying ways because of his family responsibilities to her and Harley, so she ends up putting their relationship to the test whilst she also has to face past issues as they resurface. I loved this novella as it added strength to Hayes and Mac’s relationship and the struggles they faced together and how they matured as a couple. I fell more in love with Hayes as he continued to show Mac how much she meant to him and that she would always be his forevermore.

Amazing read. This is a Novella to be read after Chasing the Stars. Hayes and Mackenzie are finally happy. Living together with their daughter, going to school and so in love. But Mackenzie still has the insecurity that Hayes isnt happy. That he wants his old life back before he knew about his daughter. She doubts that she isnt good enough for him. Can Hayes show Mackenzie that he is where he belongs and wants to be?Hayes made me fall for him even more. Hes kind, caring and just an all around good guy. Yes he can still act like an ass towards people but he would do anything for Mackenzie and Harley. Does Mackenzie push Hayes away or can they get over her insecurities and be the family that they both need and want? Find out today when you one click.

Chasing forevermore..wow! I'm not gonna lie, from the beginning when she started having doubts about their relationship..I thought oh no..is he cheating on her? Is she going to push him away? NO!! They have to make it! I can honestly say that I love this book, the whole series!! They problems that they face are just some of the problems that are faced in everyday relationships and not just because it's a book. Feelings of not being good enough, of being afraid of losing the one person who owns your heart and completes you. Being afraid that your more vested in the relationship than your partner is. The struggles brought forth in this book, heck this whole series are real struggles and that is part of why I love reading this authors work! I can't wait to see what she comes out with next!

There is nothing I love more than a happily ever after. Chasing Forevermore is exactly that: a beautiful HEA wrapped in a short and sweet novella package. Fans of Mac and Hayes will be ecstatic to see a glimpse into what is next and leave satisfied with what they read.Mac and Hayes’ story was always one that I loved. It was emotional, heartbreaking, beautiful, and a great New Adult tale. With this novella, we see more of them as a family and their beautiful daughter Harley. I loved watching them learn and grow as a unit. But more so than that, they grew as a couple and as individuals. Watching them struggle to put insecurities behind them and make strides toward their future was endearing and believable. I loved watching loose ends from the first book, things I didn’t even stop to think about, featured in this story. I enjoyed being able to see the resolution and finality of so many things that held these two back. The friends and family that surround this couple are full of love, support, generosity, and kindness. These are the kind of people you want in your corner fighting for you. The community aspect of this story is so great to see and I loved how they all had a specific role in Hayes and Mac’s life. They are the foundation that this young family of three is able to grow on. There are some new people (or should I say mentioned but not present people) that show up in this story. I enjoyed getting to see how they affected the characters and the closure they brought to some themes. If you enjoyed Mac and Hayes’ story, then you will LOVE this novella. It is full of passion and romance, learning to live life to the fullest, and a family that you would do anything for. Do not miss this lovely HEA for a couple that deserves it all!

This was the perfect little wrap up of Mac and Hayes that I was craving. I knew their story wasn't over after their book yet during Brad and Miranda's story I didn't get enough of them and their cute little family !! That little Harley is adorable and such a daddy's girl I love it !! I am so happy that the 3 of them found their way back to each other yet you had to know that their happy bliss would come into question somehow. Every relationship has struggles and with Mac and Hayes still being so young and working to get through college and raise their daughter it was inevitable the problems an d doubt would creep in. Both are feeling their doubts and insecurities and although we know it is stupid of them we also know this is a reality we all live at some point in our relationships. Hayes is wondering about Mac's time away and Mac is doubting Hayes desire to leave behind is old ways. Neither ever giving the other a reason for this just goes to show how fragile they still are. On top of these hurdles they encounter a few more as well. Not all bad but still enough to shake things up. I was so happy with their ending and again I loved this little piece of their story to tie it all together !!

I love this series and J.D. Rivera's writing tons! You need to read Chasing the Stars first to understand what is going on here.Life is great for Mackenzie now. She has her awesome boyfriend and perfect daughter. For some reason, her past is coming up to make her question her life. Hayes is the happiest he's ever been. The only thing missing is making Mackenzie his wife. One wrong choice has everything they have put in to question, and he doesn't know how to fix it. Will Hayes be able to put Mackenzie's fears to rest once and for all?!I have one big complaint about Chasing Forevermore, that it wasn't long enough! The character development is perfect, showing Mac and Hayes' evolving into responsible parents together, while connecting with them on a new level. Storyline is well written, and flows perfectly. Another hit for J.D. Rivera, as I didn't think I could love Hayes anymore, and yet somehow I do. This story is captivating from the beginning, and again I can't get enough of these characters. Can't wait for Carson's story!

I was honored to be chosen to receive ARC of this book. I was so excited to be chosen since I love the Chasing Series, especially Mackenzie and Hayes. I adore these characters so much. I was dying to catch up with these characters and find out the rest of their story. I really enjoyed how realistic their romance and drama was. I felt that it really brought the story to life. There were a few parts that I wished had more emotion in them. I felt that they fell a little flat. But make no mistake. There was still tons of swoon moments and plenty of angst felt in this story. Overall I loved this addition to the Chasing series. I felt that the storyline moved along at a nice pace and I didn’t feel like I had to force myself to push through any part of the story. Loving these characters so much, I was quickly sucked into the story and I didn’t want it to end. I wish I could unread these books so I can have the first time feels again!
