Caleb has been madly in love with his best friend and neighbor, Tessa, since their childhood. But, Tessa couldn’t see his love. So, Caleb decided to do something drastic, risky and provocative. He started anonymously sending her love letters, texts, emails and small gifts. All this attention to Tessa made her suddenly feel desired and excited. Caleb was finally able to express his love and erotic thoughts to her, and tell her all these things he couldn’t tell her in person. When Caleb confesses his love and reveals his secret to her, will she finally admit the truth to herself that Caleb has always been and will always be the only person she looked for and needed, the one that owned her heart, body and soul? This novella was seductive, passionate and the characters were great and definitely engaging. The story itself kept me hooked in the entire time. I really enjoyed this author's writing style, and I really look forward to reading more of her books soon.**ARC kindly provided by INscribe Digital via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.**

3.5 stars. I really enjoy Shiloh Walker, because she is one lady who definitely knows how to write a hot scene that has you reaching for a fan. I don't know that I've read any of her full-length novels actually, think it might just be her novellas thus far. Compared to some of her others, this one was shorter, and I have to agree with others, who found the ending somewhat abrupt (might be putting it lightly); it either needed a more drawn-out wrap-up or an epilogue, because as it is, it kind of just seems to cut-off, almost as if some text might be missing. That being said, I still really enjoyed the story. It's similar to a lot of the Walker plot lines: one of the characters has secretly been in love with the other for years, while that person just thinks they're both friends (though may have felt some attraction at times); the heroines have an extremely high rate of virginity, as well, regardless of whether they've had boyfriends or fiances in the past (go figure lol). Although she kind of uses the same plot sketch repeatedly, it doesn't seem to bother me lol. Part of that is probably because they're novellas, and the challenge for me with novellas is usually that I find the whole thing hard to believe, given the constrained space; when you're starting with two friends who are already friends/secretly in love with one another though, you skip that whole challenge and so it's more of a setup for success with me.I thought Caleb was sweet and his secret love for Tessa was cute and intense. He kind of puts himself in a bind, when he creates this alternate persona online, because then he's trying to seduce Tessa on two fronts, that end up seeming to Tessa as if they're in competition with one another, because she doesn't know they're both Caleb. All ends up well of course (I know, you're shocked!), but as mentioned previously, the ending did feel too abrupt and should have been reworked. Overall, a quick, fun and sexy read.Recommendations. Some of the other Shiloh Walker novellas I like and recommend are: One of the Guys (probably my fav), The Virgin's Night Out, and Wicked Wild Fantasies.*This review is of an ARC provided by Net Galley and the publisher

Seduced in Secret - 4 starsDon't Walk Away - 3 starsSeduced in Secret was originally published with the title Whipped Cream and Handcuffs but the story has been revised and expanded before being published again with a new name. Having never read the original version I can't compare the two so this review is purely for the new version of the story.Tessa's life is going completely to plan, she likes her job, she loves her home and she's engaged to the perfect man. Well, he's the perfect man on paper anyway even if he is a little over controlling. Everything is great until she starts receiving messages and gifts from a secret admirer and they make her start to think about all the things she is missing out on. She quickly realises that man sending the messages is right - her fiancé will never make her happy - but does she take a chance on meeting up with a stranger or should she risk action on the attraction she feels for her best friend Caleb, the one man who has always been there for her?I really love the friends to lovers trope so I knew from the blurb that I was going to enjoy Seduced in Secret. Caleb has had feelings for Tessa for as long as he can remember but she placed him in the friend box a long time ago and he's never managed to break out of it. He's spent years working overseas in the Navy but Tessa has always been the woman he dreamed of coming home to and now that he's been medically retired he is determined to make his move. It was easy to fall for Caleb, he was such a sweetheart and he obviously knows everything there is to know about Tessa and what she needs to be happy. I loved seeing the strong bond of friendship between them as well as the obvious physical attraction, they make a really cute couple and it was easy to root for them. The secret Caleb was keeping was very amusing although I didn't blame Tessa for being a bit upset when she realised what was going on. My only problem was that the story ended a bit too abruptly, I think it would have been even better if it had been extended by a couple more chapters. This book also includes a bonus short story called Don't Walk Away, this was a second chance love story between a couple with a complicated history. It was a nice bonus but was a bit too short for me to really connect with either of the characters. I would have much preferred to skip this for an extra couple of chapters of Seduced in Secret.

Seduced in SecretTessa was engaged to the perfect doctor, but when she becomes the subject of an admirer who knows all her darkest fantasies and deepest desires suddenly her perfect fiancé isn’t so ideal anymore. She's so caught up in the web of secret desire her admirer weaves, she calls it off with her fiancé.Caleb has known and loved Tessa forever. When he comes home wounded from war and ready to claim her once and for all but finds her engaged to another man, he sets out to prove that he’s the only man who knows what she actually craves and the man she really belongs to ...Will the web he weaves work? .... READ AND FIND OUT!This is a short, quick erotic tale of two friends becoming lovers. Even tho there is a time-span written in the book, it reads like a moment in time, and it's perfect. It's exactly how the story needed to be written!Don't Walk AwayI had the pleasure of reading this story a few years ago as part of The Mammoth Book of Special Ops Romance. Once again, Shiloh gives us a quick erotic moment in time. This was scorching hot in my opinion! The build-up and anticipation was so intense, I may have had to change my panties a few times ;)I'm not going to go into any plot because this is really short, but just know it's hot and quick and erotic and well wroth the read!NOTE: Both of this stories have been previously published in some form or another but it is FANTASTIC to re-visit!Copy provided by Shiloh Walker, Inc. via NetGalley for an honest review

***Spoiler Alert!!!I didn’t feel like I could write a review for this novella without spoiler blabbing. So, here it is: the heroine’s secret admirer is her childhood (and adulthood) best friend. He’s hot, ex-military and a wounded soldier. He’s been in love with her since they were children but he’s been stuck in the friend zone the entire time. The heroine is engaged to a successful man who is all wrong for her. The hero has been sending her flowers, letters and gifts anonymously to seduce her away from her fiance. He also calls her using a voice change and says naughty things. The seduction is working and the heroine is rethinking her plans. She wants to end things with her fiance and meet the hero in person (who she of course doesn’t know if her best friend). This novella was entertaining, short and sweet. There’s a little drama when the heroine finds out her secret admirer and her best friend are the same person.I’ve read older Shiloh Walker books and this was my return to the author after years away. It actually had me wanting to go back and read some of her paranormal romances. So, in a way, you could say that this novella may have seduced me back to the author.

3.5 STARSThis was a sweet novella about Tessa a woman who's engaged to be married, but her childhood friend, Caleb a hunky navy seal, has always been in love with her. Caleb goes to drastic measures to prove his love. The story is pretty short and it's good if you're pressed for time and you want a quick read. Because it was so short, I had a hard time connecting with the characters. Also, a few things in the story was a bit far-fetched, but I did like the authors writing style and I feel like if this were a full length novel I would've enjoyed this one more.*ARC provided by Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*

Now fans of this author might just recognise this story as it's previously been published under the title Whipped Cream and Handcuffs but clearly Ms Walker wasn't quite satisfied and has revisited her characters to flesh out their story and indeed their motivation. I hadn't read the previous short story so went into this with completely fresh eyes.So seemingly Tessa has it all, challenging job, good looks, home of her own, great friends and the almost too perfect fiancé . I say almost as Tessa is discontent with his controlling ways and feels kind of restless . It doesn't help that her gorgeous best friend Caleb keeps telling her she's making a huge mistake and there's also her mysterious admirer who keeps sending her very naughty messages! To be frank Caleb has loved Tessa since he met her aged four but she only sees him as a friend. Caleb is a former Seal home from war and wounded but he feels it's time to act on hs feelings and stop letting life ( or in this case Tessa) pass him by. What follows is a very sexy story filled with heart that takes these two people to the very edge and then we watch them plunge head first into what could be a beautiful thing. Tessa has needs and boy is Caleb keen to help her feel fulfilled. My only slight quibble is the end as it seemed quite abrupt but guess when the story is told it's probably right to leave something to the readers imagination.I was gifted a copy of this in exchange for an honest review

Seduced in Secret by Shiloh Walker is a quick read, and quite entertaining to say the least! It is a story about two people who have lived next door to each other almost their whole lives, and what happens to them both now that they are older.Tessa the main character in this story has her whole future mapped out. She is engaged to be married to a wonderful doctor, rich and good looking, and so she lets herself think that she will be content in this lifestyle.Caleb has known Tessa since they were both single digits in age, and he has always adored her, and he can see where Tessa messes up each time she thinks things are going to be good, because he knows that she is just settling for what she thinks is best for her not what would make her extremely happy. Caleb knows that her future is doomed with this doctor. Caleb has always been content on being in the background watching her from afar, but he knows if he wastes any more time, she will be walking out of his life for good!Around Valentines Day a box was delivered to Tessa at work, with no name on it to tell her who it was from. It was filled with handcuffs, sexy little toys and a suggestive little card. Then the emails and phone calls started and this man let her know he was not her fiance! She told her brother who was a cop and she told Caleb, who lives right next door to her, and he said he would keep his eye out and her brother told her to keep him informed. What this did is start seeds of doubt in her mind! When she meets her fiance for dinner, he tells her she should call the police on the stalker, but she does not want to! Tessa comes to the realization that her fiance will NOT make her happy, he already set the date of wedding, what kind of wedding it would be what she should wear, and he just controls everything giving her no say in anything; she said she wanted to get married on the beach and he told her too messy, he did not like the dress she picked out and picked another one out for her. So Tessa stood up and broke it off with him. After coming to her conclusion, things change between her and Caleb, he asks her out and she accepts even though she felt strange about dating the one person who has always been there for her. Tessa is now more confused than ever now that she finally sees Caleb in a whole new light! This book has a good storyline and I read it in no time. There are a couple of things that Tessa does that will make you laugh, but feel sorry for her at the same time. On the other hand Caleb knows that this is it for him, he can no longer hide from her his feelings. Will Caleb and Tessa ever get it right? Will Tessa ever find out who her admirer is?How will this all pan out?I really liked this book and gave it 4 wicked stars! I look forward to reading more from this author!

Title: Seduced in SecretAuthor: Shiloh WalkerPublisher: S.W. Inc.Reviewed By: Arlena DeanRating: fourReview:"Seduced in Secret" by Shiloh WalkerWhat I liked about this novel....I liked this erotic novella which held some much secret in one wanting the heroine to find out that her fiancee was the wrong one for her. So, will we get a friend to lover when it is all said and done from this well written twisted story? I liked the characters...being so well defined, developed, believable ...and oh my goodness...what romance and passion! What all will come of this as this secret admirer will go to some lengths so makes sure that his best friend is assured happiness. What a lovable guy and friend! So, what will happen when Tessa thinks she has it all planned out with her doctor fiance and her life is then turned upside down with some dark fantasies and deep desires ....with this 'secret admirer' whom she thought she hadn't met only to have her thinking with those naughty messages she was receiving .....and now will have her questioning her feelings about her fiance? Will these two [Tess and Caleb]who had been friends.... become lovers? Now, how will this story end? Well, you will have to pick up this novel and see for yourself and you may just be surprised with its abrupt ending....I know I was!So, if you are looking for a quick, erotic, steamy, entertaining and intriguing may want to pick this novel..."Seduced in Secret."I received a copy of this book from Net Gallery in return for an honest review.

This was a short friends to lovers novella, the story of Tessa and Caleb. They've been best friends since they were children, but Caleb has had an unrequited crush on Tessa while she's never seen him as anything other than a friend. She's engaged to another man, but when she starts receiving anonymous suggestive notes, it becomes clear to her that he's not the man for her - but will Caleb be able to convince her that he is? Or will the revelation that he's the sender behind the anonymous notes push her away? This was a fun and sexy story! I thought both characters were well developed despite the brevity of the story, with enough of their background to make it clear that they have a deep and abiding friendship. Caleb is taking a risk, but it's the only way he knows to shake Tessa out of her complacency and made her realize that she's not going to be happy with this other man. When she starts to see Caleb as he wants her to see him, it leads to some sexy scenes between them. Torn between him and her mystery admirer, Tessa has to make a choice - one she soon finds out isn't a real choice at all. The ending is a bit abrupt but fits the story. 4 stars.Note: a copy of this story was provided by the publisher via NetGalley for review.

My Review:This is a short little novella, but for what is there, it's really satisfying. This is a friends to lovers story (which I personally adore), but this one has a special twist in that Tessa doesn't realize that her secret admirer is her best friend who's been in love with her for years. Caleb's goal when he began pursuing Tessa with a secret identity was to make her take a second look at her fiance and realize that he's the wrong guy for her. Caleb is 110% in love with Tessa and has been for years, but he can't get her to give him a second look. His need and frustration and desperation to get Tessa to "see" him makes him a great character. I loved him and the lengths he was willing to go to so he could make sure Tessa would be happy...even if in the end that happiness was not with him. Add in the former/wounded military to Caleb...and yeah, I totally loved this guy. At the book Shiloh Walker stated that she'd rewritten the book making Tessa a stronger character and I loved that about her. Overall, I loved this book. It wasn't long, but it provided me a VERY happy escape for a couple of hours or less and I love that!I received a complimentary copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Review can be read at It's About The Book4.5 starsShiloh Walker writes incredible romantic suspense, so I knew that she had the capacity to write amazing erotic works. Her smooth seductive style is perfect for that, and this story didn’t let me down. The characters were well-developed and I came to care for them quickly; as their relationship changed from friendship to lovers, the excitement was palpable and their emotional intimacy was real and heartfelt.Tessa has always had her best friend Caleb in her life. She counts on him to always be there, she just doesn’t “see” him. So when she starts receiving sexy, intimate notes from a secret admirer right after she gets engaged, she confides in him about them. He’s very encouraging but also uses the opportunity to share in the admirer’s doubts about Tyson being the right one for her. Tyson’s reaction is very different–he’s threatened and wants her to call the cops. But she’s intrigued and flattered because the notes and gifts make her feel seduced and desired…something Tyson has never done. What if she met this man and realized he was the one?Caleb’s been in love with Tessa forever and she’s always refused to see it. Asking her out has never worked, so in a last ditch effort to get her attention, he started sending her these anonymous gifts and letters to see if he could stop her from marrying the wrong man. He knows they belong together–if only he can get her to really look at him. With the stakes being so high, though, he’s terrified of what might happen if she blows him off. He could lose her friendship and never see her again. And what’s with him starting to get jealous of her feelings towards the secret admirer? It’s him, right? Why is it bothering him so much?Even though it’s a pretty standard trope, in Shiloh’s hands it’s an erotically sexy tale of friends-to-lovers done right. No angsty override, no TSTL alpha-holes, just hot and steamy with a neat little twist that really brings it home, especially for Caleb. Loved the rewrite, Shiloh, can’t wait to read more of your stuff! Always a great read when I see your name on the title page. Thanks!

It’s complicated when you have a fiancé, a secret admirer and a best friend…Tessa has a problem. She’s engaged to a great guy – well, everyone says so. But something isn’t quite right so when the mysterious gifts, emails and phone calls start arriving she is tempted to walk away from what she has to take a gamble on the unknown. And, as if that wasn’t enough for her conscience to wrestle with, Caleb was getting into the act now too! Her best friend for years, he was always someone she could talk to, rely on and have a beer with. When he starts questioning her love life, and his place in it, she is even more confused. Even if she admired his backside in a most non-friendly way on occasion. Tessa needed to figure this out before, at the end of the day, it all blows up in her face.Oh to have Tessa’s problem! Ditching her fiancé may not be the hardest decision to make, but choosing between Caleb and her secret admirer is going to be tough. Switching between Tessa and Caleb’s point of view you can see the struggle on both sides to do the right thing. Tessa begins to look at Caleb in a new light but still can’t let go of the stranger who has touched her heart and intrigued her for months. I’m definitely on team Caleb as he reveals himself to be much more than a friend in a sexy package…I’m a long-time fan of this author and this short story just proves again why. Snappy dialogue, an intriguing spin on a familiar story, with heat to wrap it all up in a satisfying bow. Thank you to the publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Netgalley ARC in exchange for an honest reviewTessa should be a happy woman. She's engaged to be married to what most would consider to be a catch, but somethings missing. She's not certain that if Tyson, her fiance, is her Mr. Right. While questioning her current relationship, Tessa is thrilled to find that she has a secret admirer. This secret admirer seems to know all the things that she needs and many of the things she's fantasizes about. She feels so close and connected to her admirer, something she's never felt for Tyson. Tessa throws caution to the wind and takes a chance that her admirer may be all she's ever wanted. When she finds out who's behind all of the passionate letters and phone calls, she's surprised to find out that all she's ever wanted has been right in front of her all along.I truly loved the heroine and hero of this book. Tessa feels like she should be grateful to have the attention of what many consider to be a great catch, even if he's controlling and a little boring. But she wants more and wonders if she's missing out by just settling. Caleb has known that Tessa was it for him ever since they were kids, and seeing her commit to someone who they both know is not right for her makes him realize it's time to make his move before he looses her for good. If you're looking for incredibly passionate ride in the form of a short story, I highly recommend Seduced in Secret.

I missed this story from Shiloh Walker when it was originally published, so it was like reading a brand new story to me, which from all the changes Ms. Walker has made, it should be a brand new story for everyone.I liked Seduced in Secret. It is a novella length story that is a really fast read. Tessa seems like a really strong woman, yet as the story begins, she is engaged to a man who basically wants to tell her how to run her life. I think even before the gifts from her secret admirer Tessa knew she needed to end things with her fiance. I loved the friendship that has been a part of Tessa and Caleb's life since they met as children. While Tessa has always seen Caleb and just a friend, Caleb has loved Tessa pretty much his whole life. I enjoy the friends to lovers troupe, and think Ms. Walker did a great job moving Tessa and Caleb from just friends to more. They seemed to have a connection to one another from the beginning and I really loved when Caleb finally stepped up and shared his real feelings with Tessa.I quickly figured out who the secret admirer was and thought it added a good twist to this love story. I liked both Tessa and Caleb and really liked them as a couple as well. I enjoyed watching their relationship change and grow over the course of the story.***Seduced in Secret also includes a short bonus story Don't Walk Away.***Review copy provided by publisher

What I've read of Shiloh Walker pleased me until now and that is confirmed with this erotic novella. It is even two for the price of one, since there are in bonus the mini-novella Don' T Walk Away at the end of the book. Finally in short, it is simple and effective, nice but sexy at the same time. Tessa has a well arranged life, all is envisaged with her marriage to come with the perfect man except… that it's not really what she wants. She is actually more wild, more independent and sensual that what her fiancée ask her to be. Her secret admiror make her question herself, to rediscover herself and make her take-off. And if her second chance was the guy next door, her best friend? Caleb is a sexy navy SEAL as hell, always there when he is needed. We can only fall for him, especially when it is known that he was always in love with her. But, the secret admiror who touches a dark and unknown part of Tessa's heart is waiting for her somewhere. In its globality, the romance is simple, very sensual and we spend a pleasant moment. There are humour and more complex moments, although the secrets are foreseeable. The same applies in Don' T Walk Away, Celeste and Ethan are attaching, we wishe them to surmount all the obstacles. This second story is darker but the idea of second chance and great love remains the same.A pleasant reading that I recommend, an erotic who have some direction and who is well written!

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This edition of Seduced In Secret comes with a short story bonus, so you basically get two stories in one book. Let me start with Seduced in Secret. Honestly, it was a sexy story. Caleb was hot. I'm not sure how the heroine could have friend-zoned him for such a long time. I don't think I'd ever be that stupid. I mean, I can friend-zone a guy for so long, but I will always feel if that man has feelings for me or not. The heroine was just too clueless.Overall, it was a pretty entertaining story. However, I find it difficult to believe that a woman can just be in love with somebody all of a sudden after only seeing him as a friend for years and in the middle of a heated back and forth between a mysterious stranger. The fact that she had to "think" about who she really wanted and decided that she wanted the hero, well, that was a downer for me.The short bonus story, Don't Walk Ayay, was actually more intriguing. It was also a hot one. I really enjoyed it, and I even wish it was longer. This book is certainly a good one to read if you're pressed for time but still want to get your hot romance fix. They have a solid story that gets to the point right away without any other complications that delay your gratification.

Seduced in Secret is a short story, but Fantastic nonetheless! Seductively sexy, captivating, and entertaining. I felt connected with the characters, and love Caleb’s perseverance to conquer Tessa’s heart!Tessa was content with her life, and engaged to marry the perfect man. He is rich, a great-looking doctor. Suddenly, a gift was delivered for her at the office on Valentine’s Day, it was filled with handcuffs, sexy little toys and a suggestive little card, and not precisely from her fiancé either.Confused, she turns to her best friend Caleb, who has been secretly in love with her for years (not that he wanted to keep it a secret, is more that she’s been too blind to notice). He’s always been there to listen when she needs an ear and he’s got nice, strong shoulders when she needs one to lean on. Her secret admirer happens to know all about her darkest fantasies, and deepest desires. Suddenly her perfect fiancé isn’t so perfect anymore. If you want to find out how this story ends, you need to start by getting the book, which I highly recommend. This book comes with a bonus short story: Don' T Walk Away, which I really enjoyed.I received a complimentary copy from the publisher thru Net Galley for an honest review.

Review - SEDUCED IN SECRET - Shiloh Walker **** 4 Stars ****Tessa is engaged to a total ass. The only person who can see the huge mistake she's making by marrying this doofus is her lifelong best friend and hot as hell, sexy Navy Seal neighbour, Caleb.Yep this story has all the cliché romantic twists to it but the added bonus is the fact that there's a third interested party, another man in Tessa's life. Don't want to drop any spoilers so I'll just say that for an erotic short, this sure did pack a punch. Some serious sexual tension between two life long friend. Another man in the picture. Well you'll just have to read it now won't you! Shiloh Walker dies a great job in a limited number of words. Gets to the guts of the story quickly. Great quotes from the book:I dream about slipping into your room. You’re asleep. You don’t even know I’m there. Then I climb into bed with you and bring you awake with my mouth, with my hands, with my body. By the time you really wake up, I’m already fucking you, Tess. The sun was starting to set. It painted her skin with the softest of golds and the colors of the sky reflected in her eyes. She was so damn beautiful it hurt to look at her.A nice little extra with this book is the bonus short at the end.

Review copy provided via NetGalley1½ starsI read Seduced in Secret because the secret admirer aspect grabbed my attention and I’ve enjoyed reading this author’s romances before. I was worried about there being cheating involved, but there wasn’t. Tessa does toe the line but doesn’t cross it. There was an element of the storyline that was so very predictable, I’m surprised Tessa didn’t figure it out sooner.I’m kind of pissed at the ending, or lack there of. I seriously thought my copy of the book was missing the last chapter or an epilogue, but a reading buddy confirmed the last line in the story. I get that this is a novella but the story ended quite abruptly and I was left feeling unsatisfied. I didn’t even care to read the bonus story. And speaking of unfinished storylines, there was mention of a family who couldn’t pay their medical bill (Tessa’s a manager in a medical office), and I’m not sure why this was even in the story. There was quite a bit of detail and page time spent on the extent of the past due medical bills, page time that would have been better spent on an epilogue.

Seduced In Secret is a short novella that I did enjoy, but it didn't completely blow me away. It's well written, but it took me a while to connect with the characters, especially the hero. It is fairly short, so there wasn't much opportunity for character development, which is probably why I felt I didn't really know them. The storyline itself is fun and interesting, it is also very sexy. I'm not going to say too much about the storyline though, as I'm finding it hard not to drop spoilers. Tessa has been receiving mysterious gifts, letters and phone calls from a secret admirer, and they are making her see that her boyfriend is not the one for her. Just as she's falling for her secret admirer she realises that her best friend, Caleb, may also be ideal for her. Caleb has had strong feelings for Tessa for years, but she has him firmly in the friend zone - can he make her see that he's her ideal man? This is short, sweet and sexy story that is a nice easy read. Seduced in Secret gets three out of five stars.I received a copy of this book in exchange for a honest review

*ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review*A secret admirer...who knows your deep, dark, erotic fantasies...once you get over the creepo/stalker vibe that gives you and concentrate on the raw feelings and motivations, you will find yourself seduced. Love that the shoe is on the other foot, so to speak, in this telling, it is the man who is suffering through unrequited love (initially). Two best friends since forever, Tessa and Caleb have that "comfortableness" that come from knowing each other deeply. Tessa has her whole future mapped out, about to be married to a successful and good-looking doctor and looking forward to that lifestyle - she is ignoring that voice inside and outside (CALEB!) her head telling her she is making a mistake. Enter the Secret Admirer who sends sexy gifts and notes, igniting her fantasies and giving voice to her misgivings. It serves as her wake-up call to really look at what she wants instead of what she thinks she wants. Quick, steamy and engaging read. Where can I get my very own Caleb? :-)

Received a review copy through NetGalley. This was such a short and sweet read. I loved the relationship between Tessa and Caleb. The two of them were great. They have been friends for years and Caleb always had feelings for Tessa, she was just to blind to see it. To get her attention he posed as a secret admirer. When he finally got a chance to tell her how he felt they took things far, but he still hadn't told her the truth. I loved Caleb because he never gave up on the possibility of their being a relationship between them. Tessa was a sweet person. I think she was just too clouded to realize things up until the night they had sex. When she did realize the truth about her feelings for him and then found out that he was the secret admirer, everything just fell into place for her.Cute short, steamy read.

4 stars. Seduced in Secret is a super fast read that packs a punch. Of course it's sexy--you know everything by Shiloh Walker is. But it's also intriguing and full of story in just under 100 pages. I love the falling for the best friend storyline, and this one is lots of fun. Definitely think you should check it out! --For more reviews and bookish talk, visit our blog at Pretty Sassy Cool.

Tessa´s got her whole life sorted, she´s got work, a fiancée and a wedding coming up. But it´s not making her happy. Her fiancée´s taken over everything, the wedding has nothing to do with her, and the only thing making her feel something is the love notes - from someone unknown.. Caleb´s been in love with his best friend since forever, but she´s never seen him as anything other than a friend. When she´s about to make the biggest mistake he has to take action. He never expected Tessa to react as she does, but how to take it to the next level?Contemporary romance, quick read in a quick pace and smutty fluff in a great combo. Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.

Overall I enjoyed this story. The main characters were likable and the sex scenes were steamy. I did have a problem with the continuity of the story. For example, near the beginning of the story Tessa said that Caleb seldom communicated with her when he was away in the military, but in another chapter, she said they stayed in touch all the time while he was away. There were also several typos throughout this story, which were surprising since this was a revised story. I also didn't care for the abrupt ending. I did however enjoy the characters, the idea of the secret admirer and the development of the characters' romantic relationship. This was a quick, enjoyable read.
