Fifteen Tales for Christmastide Reviews
Thank you Goodreads for sending me this book. I have just finished reading this book, and even though Christmas was nearly two months ago, I still enjoyed it. The book comprises of 15 short stories, obviously based on the theme of Christmas. Most of the stories also have a religious feel to them. My favourite story was probably The Sled; I loved the descriptions in this short story. I would say that this is a feel-good book and one that I probably would not have read if I had not won it.
Beautifully written literary tales for serious readers.Although this work is centered around the Christmas season, the messages of faith, friendship and compassion are appropriate and enjoyable at any time of year.
Some of these stories were enjoyable, but I also found some of them to be rather boring. I feel that nothing about the story would change if the Christmas elephant was removed from the stories.
Goodreads win. Will read and review once received.
Some of the stories were ok but some were boring. Maybe better read at Christmas. I won this book on Goodreads
