Punctuation for Writers: An Instructive Reference Text for Writers of Fiction, Essays & Poetry Reviews
Probably THE best explanation I've ever seen for punctuation (and sentence structure as well) for writers. Harvey takes the subject and dramatically simplifies it from all those nonsensical "rules" you find all over the internet and in English classes everywhere to what's relevant to writers and how punctuation affects readers. Section 2 on the parts of a sentence are a good refresher for those of us who have been out of school a couple of decades or more. His humor comes through in the writing to make even this really boring topic interesting. And the glossary is even worth reading in this book.
Nothing new here. It's the same info I found on this subject all over the internet.
