Review by Lori: This was an erotic romance story. The protagonist was Gregori, who is a vampire. He owns a sex club where vamps and humans can indulge in erotic delights. Candi is a romance author who's publisher wants her to spice up her stories with some kinky, erotic, steamy plots. The better to entice her fans to buy her books. Her sales are declining and her stories are boreing with ho hum sex scenes. Then, in a matter of a paragraph, Candi's marriage to her husband Ethan takes a nose dive and we find out that Ethan isn't happy in the marriage. I would have liked to have seen how their marriage went south instead of in a paragraph, but I digress. Candi finds a card in Ethan's pants regarding a sex club which she searches for on the internet and finds out what it is. She goes there, meets up with Gregori and then all of the sudden, she finds herself facing singledom again. She goes from passionately loving her husband to despising him, again, in one paragraph. They had one really intense sex scene, but that was it. I thought some of her dialogue was corny and I thought that some of Gregori's dialogue made him sound stiff and "english is not first language". Ethan was a total moron and totally deserved what he got. The other woman got her's as well. The story held my interest and I enjoyed it.

Entertaining, enlightening, and thoroughly enjoyable. That about sums it up. Though I thought at the beginning of the story, that Candi was too strong-willed albeit it somewhat naïve, to become a submissive, apparently the author and Gregori knew her better than I did. This appears to be a well-thought out, well-built world where vampires are accepted as existing and their associated vices on display for the world of humans to behold, and partake of, providing they’re brave enough. The background explanations in the first couple of paragraphs made me want to run around looking for a novel going into more detail, so now I have to ask the (probably stupid) question: Cynthia, is there a story about the dastardly attempts of Dragos to inundate the human populace with Blue?New series, same entertaining author. Check it out!
